Guideline For Parents

General Guidelines

  •  You are requested to check the uniform, the school bag and the punctuality of the child the matter of the diary routine, see the pages assigned for parents & teachers communication and put your signature in acknowledgement.
  •  Any communication other than through the diary must be sent in an envelope with the child's name, class and roll number clearly mentioned on it.
  •  Read school circulars, notes, remarks, and evaluation reports from teachers carefully. Acknowledge wherever required.
  •  Communicate any matter of concern to the teacher regarding to the feedback that you receive from the child may help the child gain confidence.
  •  All items of uniform and other belongings must be neatly labeled or have identification marks.
  •  Encourage your ward to be careful about his/her belongings.
  •  Valuable articles or money should not be brought to the school.
  •  Absenteeism shall be firmly discouraged.
  •  In case leave is unavoidable, kindly inform the child’s class teacher or principal.

  •  The teachers are not allowed to accept requests for private PTMs.
  •  Encourage your child to do his work in dependently as far as possible without impairing his/her initiative in any way.
  •  Students must be aided by the family in acquiring fluency in English. Conversation in English at home will help tremendously.
  •  Encourage your child to take interest in activities, academics, co-curricular activities and sports.
  •  Birthdays can be celebrated through the distribution of candies/toffees in the class. No cakes, pastries, chocolate bars or fancy gifts are permitted. Partying in the classroom or the cafeteria is strictly prohibited.
  •  Any change in address or telephone number must be intimated to the school office at the earliest in writing.
  •  Make sure the child returns the library books in or on time. Otherwise, a fine will be charged and the library facility will be withdrawn.
  •  No parent is allowed to enter any classrooms without permission.
  •  Motivate your child to maintain a proper code of conduct. Any misbehavior or indiscipline may lead to serious disciplinary action.

Parent-Teacher Meeting

  •  The school invites parents during Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM) for academic and general progress of their child. The date and time will be informed through school circulars.
  •  Parents can’t meet any Teachers without prior permission.
  •  Parents can meet for any important issues on every Friday with the Teachers at given time by prior permission from the Admin-In-Charge by submission of “Meeting Slip”.
  •  Parents can meet the Admin-In-Charge for any urgent issues.
  •  Parents can meet the Principal by prior permission from the Admin-In-Charge by submission of “Meeting Slip”.
  •  Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM) is compulsory for all parents.
